In early December 2025, BTL Laboratory participated in the CEPREI-SPT-2504 Proficiency Testing Program for Software Security Testing of Internet-Connected Radio Equipment, organized and implemented by China CEPREI Laboratory. Testing and evaluation were conducted in accordance with EN 18031, and the results received a “satisfactory” rating, with the score ranking in the top tier.

This proficiency testing was organized and implemented by CEPREI, with a total of 39 laboratories participating. It provided a quantitative evaluation of capabilities related to EN 18031 (software security for internet-connected radio equipment), focusing on the full testing lifecycle, including test requirement analysis, test design and execution, result determination, and delivery documentation. Under unified samples, unified rules, and a unified scoring system organized by an authoritative body, achieving a satisfactory evaluation demonstrates that our information security team has the capability to conduct testing in accordance with EN 18031 requirements and to deliver auditable and traceable conclusions. This not only directly supports the company in delivering more reliable and repeatable results for customer projects related to EU RED cybersecurity compliance (with EN 18031 as a key standard), but also significantly enhances customer trust and market competitiveness.

The proficiency testing result report shows that BTL Laboratory scored more than twenty points above the satisfactory threshold, with test result accuracy ranking among the top five. The overall capability of BTL Laboratory is demonstrated to be in the first tier.

Achieving a high score and obtaining a “satisfactory” evaluation in this CEPREI-organized proficiency testing indicates that BTL Laboratory has received authoritative external quality validation in the field of EN 18031 testing and possesses strong industry competitiveness.
