In 2024Q4, the GCF (Global Certification Forum) released the new version v3.95.0 of GCF-CC.

GCF-CC v3.95.0 will take effect on October 23, 2024, and will be mandatory on February 4, 2025 (GCF-CC v3.94.0 will be valid until February 3 2025). 

The key updates are as follows: 

1. The changes to the Field Trials are as follows:

a. Chapter 9.2.3.3 of GCF-CC corresponds to the requirements of RedCap Field Trials, and the detailed test requirements can be found in Annex F.5.4.

b. Network Sliding test cases added to Annex F5.1;

c. Annex F5.2 adds the requirement of logfile in the VoWIFI test case, and adds supplementary operation instructions for the special situation of emergency call test;

b. Added RedCap test cases in Annex F5.4;

2. The changes to Annex F2 Declaration Summary are as follows:

a. 5G NR removes the requirements of NE-DC (NSA option 4);

b. 4G needs to list the 4RX bands supported by the product separately;

3. The changes to AGNSS are as follows:

a. Annex H.3.1.5, corresponding to the RF part of AGNSS, for the relevant use cases of the 5G NR ENDC frequency band, it is necessary to select the frequency band supported by the terminal and the required use cases in the table for testing;

b. Annex H.3.2.5, corresponding to the RF part of AGNSS, for the relevant use cases of the 5G NR SA frequency band, it is necessary to select the frequency bands supported by the terminal and the required use cases in the table for testing;
