According to the official announcement issued by CNCA from 2020/8/27,（Named: Announcement No. 20 of 2020 "Announcement on Clarifying Compulsory Product Certification Requirements for 5G Mobile User Terminals"）, 5G mobile user terminals implement mandatory product certification the standard clarifies the relevant requirements and the content is as follows:

The certification standards said that:

Since the date of the announcement, when applying for mandatory product certification for 5G mobile user terminals need to add the electromagnetic compatibility standard YD/T2583.18-2019 ("Electromagnetic compatibility performance requirements and measurement methods for cellular mobile communication equipment Part 18: 5G user equipment and Auxiliary Equipment") as the basis for CCC certification of 5G mobile user terminals.

For 5G mobile user terminals that already finished CCC certification but the standard does not include YD/T2583.18, the applicant should submit an application for change and supplement the test to update the certificate. The enterprise should complete the certificate conversion before June 30, 2021 and the certificate that has not been converted after the expiry date will be cancelled.

The following are the 5G frequency bands used by Chinese operators：

Before Aug 27,2020, product with 5G function which already got CCC certification but only include 2,3,4G corresponding regulations will not effect sales. Until June 30, 2021, the Supervision Bureau will temporarily not have conduct market spot checks on 5G, and companies can still sell. Mobile user terminal enterprises need to conduct self-examination. 

If they have not completed the certificate conversion before June 30, 2021, they will face the risk of market spot checks.
