Since August 2021, in order to better control imported products, TISI officials have continuously improved audio and video regulations to make them comply with international standards and to be in line with international standards. At the same time, the control policy during the COVID-19 has also been changed accordingly:
1. Audio, video and similar electronic equipment products still follow the original regulations TIS1195-2536, new regulations will be announced after official research.
2. On October 15, 2021, the new Secretary-General of TISI announced that the batch certificates previously issued due to the COVID-19 will expire 60 days after the announcement (December 14th ), which means that the batches no more accepted and enterprises need to re-apply for TISI (submit application materials-local test and factory inspection-report and review the certificate issued). The resolution to cancel batch certification is for all TISI-controlled products.
3. Even if the special regulation of batch certificate is cancelled, during the COVID-19 period, customers can still choose the method of QC document review for factory inspection, which is still officially accepted.
