In response to the request of the Mexican wireless telecommunications company Radiomovil Dipsa S.A. of C.V. (Telcel) for its 5G network promotion, the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones of Mexico (IFETEL) approved to modify 18 concession titles on Feb 9th, 2022, which allowed Telcel to launch 5G service within frequency bands in the 3450-3550MHz. It means that IFETEL will accept the approval applications for the 5G devices like 5G mobile phones, 5G CPE, 5G modules, 5G mobile hot spots, 5G tablets, drones, head-mounted displays, robots, televisions, etc, which used the frequency bands within the 3450-3550MHz.
