On May 27, 2022, the FCC released a notice DA No. 22-508, announcing that the old version of the FCC registration system CORES (Commission Registration System) will be discontinued on July 15, 2022, and since then only the new version of the registration system CORES 2 can be used for FRN (FCC registration number) registration, information update and maintenance, etc.

Key Points:

◆ CORES (old version) will be closed at 6:00 pm on July 15, 2022;

◆ CORES 2 (new version) enterprises need to register a new account;

◆ New registered accounts in CORES 2 (new version) can be set to associate existing or new FRN numbers;

◆ CORES 2 (new version) requires an annual fee (the specific amount is subject to the official update information later).

Before registering FRN in the new system, you must first register an account (Username)

If you are still using CORES (old version), you need to register a new account in CORES 2 (new version), then use the new account to log in to the CORES 2 (new version) system, and then associate the account with the current enterprise FRN.
