Indonesia''s General Directorate of Post and Information Resources and Equipment (SDPPI) has issued Decree No. 260 of 2024 on technical standards for Short Range Devices (SRDS). The decree, which details the frequency allocation and technical parameter requirements for various types of short-range equipment, came into force on August 11, 2024.

The Act mainly focuses on the testing requirements section. The new act comes into force and becomes mandatory on October 14, 2024, with the old Act 3481/2019 being withdrawn simultaneously.
