Human Rights Policy

 
BTL Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is committed to respecting and protecting human rights. We support and adhere to international human rights principles, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact, and International Labor Organization conventions, while complying with applicable labor laws and regulations in all locations where we operate. Through this policy and specific management programs, the Company strives to ensure that employees work in an environment characterized by fairness, safety, and dignity, while extending respect for human rights throughout the supply chain to support sustainable business development.

I. Human Rights Commitments

01Respect internationally recognized fundamental human rights and ensure that employees are protected from discrimination, harassment, and unfair treatment.
02Comply with local labor laws, strictly prohibit forced labor and child labor, and maintain reasonable working hours and leave arrangements.
03Establish open and transparent communication and grievance channels to protect employees' legitimate workplace rights and interests.
04Actively promote Diversity & Inclusion and ensure fairness in employment, compensation, promotion, and training opportunities.

II. Human Rights Management Policies and Programs

Management Policy Specific Programs
Provide a Safe and Healthy Working Environment Implement occupational safety and health management in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular health examinations and emergency preparedness drills.
Support Employee Well-being and Work-Life Balance Implement appropriate working-hour and leave arrangements.
- Organize year-end gatherings and departmental events to strengthen employee engagement.
- Provide psychological support and health consultation resources.
Eliminate Discrimination and Harassment and Promote Diversity & Inclusion Strictly prohibit discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Maintain policies and procedures for the prevention, complaint handling, and disciplinary management of sexual harassment.
Prohibit Forced Labor and Child Labor Employment relationships must be entered into voluntarily, and all forms of forced labor or slavery are prohibited.
- Strictly prohibit the employment of child labor.
Comply with Local Labor Laws and Regulations Comply with local statutory requirements regarding minimum wages and working conditions.
- Maintain regular communication and consultation between employees and management.
Establish Human Rights Grievance and Remedy Mechanisms Provide accessible and confidential grievance channels so employees can safely express concerns.
- Investigate complaints promptly and handle them appropriately in accordance with a zero-tolerance approach.

III. Training and Continuous Improvement

01Human rights education and awareness begin when employees join the Company and cover topics including sexual harassment prevention, workplace bullying, occupational safety and health, and compliance with labor laws.
02Regularly review and update the Human Rights Policy, disclose it on the Company's website and internal platforms, and remain open to stakeholder oversight.

Workplace Environment and Employee Safety Measures

 
BTL is committed to providing all employees and relevant stakeholders with a safe and healthy working environment. In accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and applicable occupational safety and health regulations, the Company adopts disaster prevention and risk reduction as core principles and continuously improves its occupational safety and health management practices to create a healthy and positive workplace.

Occupational Safety
The Company appoints dedicated occupational safety and health personnel and arranges first-aid training for designated employees. In addition, emergency response drills are conducted annually to prepare for potential incidents, improve employees' familiarity with equipment operation and emergency procedures, strengthen hazard awareness, and enhance self-protection and emergency response capabilities. In 2024, the Company recorded no major occupational accidents involving death or permanent disability and one injury/disability incident. In 2025, the Company recorded no major occupational accidents involving death or permanent disability and five injury/disability incidents, consisting primarily of falls and abrasions. Occupational safety and health education and awareness activities were therefore strengthened.

Health Education
In accordance with applicable worker health protection regulations, the Company provides regular health examinations for employees and conducts follow-up health management and care based on examination results. In addition to statutory health examinations, the Company provides on-site occupational health services and health seminars to enhance employees' health awareness.

Fire Prevention and Emergency Response
The Company conducts regular annual fire drills as part of its fire prevention and emergency response measures. Fire safety equipment is inspected and reported annually by qualified fire protection service providers. For day-to-day prevention, equipment including elevators and generators is regularly inspected, while unsafe working conditions and behaviors are actively identified, prevented, and controlled to reduce the likelihood of incidents.

Workplace Environmental Monitoring
To minimize the potential impact of harmful substances in the workplace on employee health, the Company operates a central air-conditioning system and conducts planned carbon dioxide concentration monitoring every six months to help maintain a safe and comfortable working environment.

Safety and Health Management and Training
The Company promotes employee participation and effective safety and health management, continuously providing safety education to ensure employees understand relevant occupational safety and health regulations and emergency procedures. New employees receive occupational safety and health training to strengthen their awareness from the beginning of employment. First-aid and fire safety training is also conducted regularly to enhance emergency response capabilities and safety awareness.

Occupational Accident Prevention and Response Mechanism
In accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, BTL reports occupational accident statistics and analysis online on a monthly basis. To ensure that occupational accidents are handled consistently, the Company has established an occupational accident reporting mechanism to enable timely awareness and management of employee occupational injuries.
Through comprehensive management systems, education and training, and continuous occupational safety and health management, BTL is committed to providing a healthy, safe, and accident-free workplace that protects employees' personal safety and well-being.

The Company has established a Remuneration Committee and maintains a competitive, transparent, and equitable compensation policy that shares the benefits of operating performance with all employees and provides fair treatment regardless of gender or demographic background. For employees with relevant professional expertise and work experience, compensation is determined based on objective job-related criteria such as education, professional experience, expertise, qualifications, and certifications, without differentiation based on gender or demographic background. Although the characteristics of the industry result in a higher proportion of male employees, the Company remains committed to fostering a diverse workplace and ensuring that its compensation system follows the principle of gender equality.
