1.

Q:Which(s) of the standard should be followed for the 30-960MHz standalone receiver product? Standard RSS-Gen or ICES-003?

A:The regulations of RSS-Gen clearly specified that the standard-alone receiver products working in the range of 30-960mhz should comply with the regulations of chapter 7, so RSS-Gen is a must.

      For ICES-003 refers to the following three situations:

      a. If there is no ITE function with the product, this product is out of the scope of ICES-003, so ICES-003 is not applied;

      b. ITE function of the product is only used to assist the operation of wireless function, and it does not control other functions or performance, this product is still out of the scope of ICES-003, so ICES-003 is not applied;

     c. ITE function controls other functions or performance other than wireless function, which falls within the scope of ICES-003, thus ICES-003 must be followed.
