IC ID/CS-03 Certification
Certification Introduction:
ISED is abbreviation of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, which controls radio frequency products such as BT/WIFI/GSM/WCDMA/LTE devices and telecommunications terminal products (PSTN). Both IC ID and CS-03 certificate need to be obtained for the device with both radio and telecommunication function at the same time.

Introduction:
In Canada the product is excepted form certification for EMC part. Instead, SDOC is applied.
The common standards are as following:
ICES-Gen(General Requirements for Compliance of Interference-Causing Equipment)
ICES-001(For Industrial, Scientific and Medical Radio Frequency Generators device)
ICES-003(For Information Technology Equipment)

North American safety certification:

UL certification: UL are abbreviations of company Underwriteries Laboratories Inc. UL certification is one of the recognized safety certification in North America, applicable to the product that sold on the American market.
cETLus certification: ETL is abbreviations of Electrical Testing Laboratories. cETLus certification is used for the products sold in the United States and Canada..
cTÜVus certification: there are two kinds, TUV Rheinland certification and TUV SÜD certification for North America (the United States and Canada), both are recognized safety certification in North America.
CSA certification:CSA are abbreviations of Canadian Standards Association, which is the first non-profit organization in Canada to develop Standards specifically for industry. At present, CSA is the largest safety certification agency in Canada. "CSA" Marking is one of the most well-known product safety certification marks in the world.
CSAus certification: one of safety certification for products sold in the United States and Canada.
MET certification:MET are abbreviations of Maryland Electrical Testing. Company MET Laboratories, Inc is the first nationally recognized laboratory (NRTL). The MET mark can apply for the American and Canadian markets. The MET mark with c-us indicates that the product has passed the test and meets the applicable safety standards of the America and Canada, and can enter both markets at the same time.
