On January 22, 2020, Indonesia's SDPPI issued Regulation No. 36, which is intended to update the list of overseas accredited laboratories.
The main contents are as follows:
1. The regulations only apply to non-HKT products. HKT products refer to Tablet Computer, Handheld Computer and Hand Phone / Cellular Phone products.
2. The number of authorized overseas laboratories has been reduced from the original 210 to the current 150. The test reports of the 150 laboratories can be directly used for SDPPI transfers.
BTL Taipei / Dongguan / Shanghai companies can use reports.
3. The effective period of this regulation is 6 months from the date of promulgation, and it will expire on July 22, 2020.
It is worth noting that for HKT products, it is still required to comply with the No. 183 regulation (valid for 6 months) issued on October 16, 2019. There are 40 recognized overseas laboratories, and only BTL Dongguan laboratories are listed.
If you have any questions, please feel free to consult BTL International Department.
