The Thai NBTC issued an oral announcement on February 25, 2020. The person in charge of NBTC certification has modified and changed the type approval of cellular mobile products (NBTC TS 1027-2560).
This verbal instruction came into effect on February 25, 2020, and applies to newly applied cellular mobile products. It has no effect on certified products and the certificate is still valid.
The changes involved are as follows:
* This regulation regulates newly added LTE Band 41 (5G NR band is open Band 41)

Therefore, if WWAN products support Band 41, NBTC requires that all new applications include LTE Band 41 test results.
If you need further consultation, please contact BTL IA Department, thank you!
