The Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (Korean Agency for Technology and Standards) issued a notice on July 21, 2020, announcing that KC 62133-2 was officially confirmed and started to use. The CB reports and certificates of the international implementation standards IEC 62133-2012 and IEC 62133-2017 can be accepted for KC transfer before December 31, 2020.
It is important to note that for personal travel tools (less than 25KM/h) shipped or cleared after August 1, 2020, it will be mandatory to apply for KC certificates in accordance with the implementation standard KC 62133-2.

Korean KC executive standards "KC 60335-2-29 and KC 60950 & KC 60065" are updated as follows:
1. KC 60335-2-29 keeps the adjustment in line with the IEC standard. The output voltage limit is adjusted from 42.4V to 120V. More products need to be certified.
Implementation regulations:
----AC input power tools belong to the safety confirmation category
----Except for the model name, the marking requirements of the battery unit will be cancelled
2. The division rules for KC 60950 & KC 60065 derivative models have changed, and the division standard has been changed from input power to input current.
