On Oct 1st, 2020, MeitY of India issued a notification that additional 7 categories of products have been added to the BIS mandatory scheme under Phase V.
This notice will come into effect on Aril 1st 2021, 6 months from the publication date of this notification. The products in this list cannot be imported and sold in India without BIS approval.
