Share:

As a relaxation to MECTE procedure, TEC once announced that they would accept test reports/ results from any lab accredited by accreditation bodies under ILAC in a short period. The ending date of acceptance mentioned by TEC last time was 30th September 2020. Now TEC has extended the acceptance up to 30th June 2021. Per this addendum, test reports/ results from any lab accredited by accreditation bodies under ILAC shall be accepted until 30th June 2021. Further, this relaxation shall be available for test result/test reports of all requirements of Essential Requirements except Safety Requirements and EMI/EMC Reequipments.

Thanks to this policy, it would release some pressure from manufacture who is expecting to achieve TEC certificate recently.

Please refer to the bellowing Addendum.
