The Subsecretaria de Telecomunicaciones (SUBTEL) in Chile published the RESOLUCION N°2844 on September 6, 2022. It amends some resolutions of N°2844 issued in 2017, and announces that the frequencies 5.925-7.125 MHz will be replaced by frequencies 5.925-6.425 MHz for WIFI6. The RESOLUCION N°2844 also says that the limit for Maximum power delivered to the antenna of 10 mW and with antennas with a maximum gain of 40 dB, will be now replaced by isotropic power Equivalent Radiated Radiation (E.P.R.I.) maximum of 50 dBm. The new regulations have came into effect on September 14, 2022. The SUBTEL certificates that were issued before effective date don't need to be re-certified. Since 09/14/22,all applications must comply with these new parameters.
