Announcement of Two Resolutions on CCC Certification of Lithium Batteries and Mobile Power Supplies

Recently, the official website of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) released two resolutions on the mandatory product certification requirements for camping mobile power supplies, the division of certification units for lithium-ion batteries, and measurement tolerances. The details are as follows:

When the name of a mobile power supply product contains words such as "camping" or "outdoor", the product name in the CCC certification certificate should be marked in parentheses with "not intended for installation and use only in outdoor environments", and the manufacturer should indicate in the product manual that the product must not be exposed to rain, water, or other related warning information.

Dimensional requirements for the CCC series of lithium-ion batteries

On September 27, 2023, the China Quality Certification Center made relevant supplementary resolutions on the division of mandatory product certification units and measurement tolerances for lithium-ion batteries:
According to the "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification of Electronic Products and Safety Accessories", the size of lithium-ion batteries must be the same. In order to ensure the standardization and consistency of unit division, the TC03 expert group has issued a resolution on measurement tolerance.
