Korea KEA Expand Product Scope of Automatically Approved Items for Reporting Efficiency Management Equipment

On October 10, 2023, The Korea Energy Agency (KEA) issued a notification, intending to expand the "automatic approval of the report" item in order to shorten the time required for review by the person in charge of the agency and the waiting time for the company after the declaration of efficiency management equipment.


Existing products of automatic approval   of reportAir purifiers, converters Built-in LED   Application
Products intending to expandConverter External LED lamps, gas water   heaters, TV sets, electric vacuum cleaners, electric refrigerators, electric   rice cookers, dehumidifiers, kimchi refrigerators, electric cold and hot   water dispensers, and domestic gas boilers


After the expansion, it will shorten the lead time of Korea Energy Efficiency Approval and make it more efficiency.
