Here’s the English translation of the summary regarding Taiwan NCC technical specifications on compliance requirements for test fixtures and test software in inspection reports

Share:

Question:

During the testing process, should fixtures or accessories used for fixed-frequency testing, provided by applicants or test laboratories, be disclosed in the test report?

Answer:

If a test fixture or test software provided by the applicant is essential to complete the testing, the name, model, version, and purpose of such equipment must be clearly disclosed in the test report, along with corresponding photos or screenshots. This ensures test reproducibility and report traceability.

Reference:

According to Article 6, Paragraph 4, Subparagraph 7 of the “Regulations for the Inspection of Telecommunications Terminal Equipment” and the “Regulations for the Inspection of Controlled Telecommunications Radio-Frequency Devices” issued by the National Communications Commission (NCC):

"The inspection report shall include test connection diagrams, test setup photos, and descriptions; the equipment or device samples shall be connected to external power supplies, accessories, and peripheral devices.

If the test can only be completed with test fixtures or test software provided by the applicant, the names and versions of such fixtures or software must be specified."
