BTL | AI high-power server detection capability launched
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the energy demands of AI servers can be divided into two main stages: the training phase and the inference phase. The training phase of large and complex models requires a significant amount of electricity, far exceeding the power needs of traditional data center operations.
In AI servers, the power supply must adapt to the shift from CPU-based to GPU-based computation cores. The GPUs, which are used in AI servers, are more advanced and numerous, necessitating a power module that can provide sufficient and stable electricity to drive these high-performance components. Traditional servers typically install 2-8 CPUs, whereas AI servers require not only CPUs but also multiple additional GPUs. Consequently, the power module in AI servers plays a crucial role, and the power source provided to the AI power module becomes equally important. A stable power supply ensures the consistent, high-power, and efficient operation of AI servers.
The BTL Group's e-Lab can provide stable and efficient 60kVA power for high-power servers. The voltage ranges from 0-310V AC with a frequency of 45-65Hz, supporting both Δ and Y power connections. The anechoic and shielded chambers are equipped with three-phase AC filters capable of handling currents up to 200A.

The laboratory is equipped with pre-setup areas for AI server testing, providing independent three-phase power supply. For large products, the laboratory has a 4-ton capacity elevator and hydraulic carts for easy and quick movement within the facility.
