EN 50360 / EN 50566 SAR Regulation Update

CE has released the 2023 version of the regulations for EN 50360 / EN 50566, and BTL will quickly explain the new version of the regulations for you.


A. The first is the fast SAR regulations for the long-released EN IEC 62209-3. This time it has also been included in the recognized test regulations. At this stage, CE has initially agreed to include fast SAR into the approved testing regulations, which can speed up future testing. However, it must still be noted that the current European random testing for SAR is gradually increasing its efforts, and the test system used for random testing is not It will be limited to fast SAR systems or traditional probe SAR systems, so when the product is shipped, BTL still recommends testing and verification on both current systems to ensure that the product can meet regulatory requirements.


BTL has both fast SAR (cSAR System) and traditional probe (DASY SAR System) systems, which can assist customers in conducting complete random testing and verification during shipment. If you have any questions or needs, please feel free to ask.
