Interpretation of Notice

In January 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Information issued the notice“Measures of Implementation of the Sale and registration of Radio Transmitting Equipment (Interim)"to the radio regulatory agencies of provinces, municipalities and municipalities directly under the Central Government. And it will come into effect on March 1, 2019.


The following is the personal opinions of“Measures of Implementation of the Sale and registration of Radio Transmitting Equipment (Interim)". (hereinafter referred to as the Measures).

I summarized as follows:


1) Thebusiness entity which sell the radio transmitting equipment should register it in the official website 10 working days before the product selling.


2) The registration shall include the information of the business entity and the information of the selling equipment. The information of the business entity shall include the name of the business entity, the unified social credit code, the contact person as well as his contact information, the address of the business entity or the name and website of the network sales platform, and relevant documents. Sales equipment information should include equipment type, manufacturer name, model name, model approved code, and etc.


3) For the initial registration, the. Provincial Radio administer will issue the approved code and the corresponding two-dimensional codes through the information platform within five working days if the business entity can provide completed materials.


4) The online or offline business entities are required to place approval code orcorresponding two-dimensional codes obviously in its commercial place. If selling in online platform shall indicate the approved code of the sales equipment for record or the corresponding two-dimensional code. on the front page of the online shop.


5) In accordance with the relevant regulation of Ministry of Industry and Information (Ministry of Industry and Information No. [2014]1), approving for "completedbut un-independentradio transmitting module” should submit the type approval information of the whole equipment. But the information of module’s type approval is not required. For the "uncompleted and un-independent radio transmitting module" and end products embedded it is necessary to apply for model approval for the end product.
