Vietnam Issued new Circular 05/2019/TT-BTTTT

MIChas issued new Circular 05/2019/TT-BTTTT replace Circular 04/2018/TT-BTTTT, which will be taken into effect on 1st September, 2019. 

The main changes are as following. 


1. MIC adds HS code for each kind of product. 


2. Firewall, server, router, gateway, switch without radio functions are removed from products list which mandatory to declaration of conformity in Vietnam. 


3. QCVN 117:2018/BTTTT is RF standard for LTE function (replace QCVN 47:2015/BTTTT) 


4. QCVN 118:2018/BTTTT is EMC standard for ITE (replace TCVN 7189:2009) 


5. Type Approval Certificates which are issued under regulation of Circular 04/2018/TT-BTTTT and contain update standards will valid until the effective date of update standards. These certificates which contain update standards (such as LTE and EMC) should be update before Circular 05/2019/TT-BTTTT taken into effect.
