FCC has temporarily discontinued the DFS verification demonstration at the FCC Lab
Due to an FCC Public Notice; PREVENTIVE MEASURES RELATED TO CORONAVIRUS Released: March 4, 2020; the FCC's Laboratory division in Colombia MD will temporarily discontinue the DFS verification demonstration.
The demonstration, in accordance Knowledge Data Base Publication 388624, is a prerequisite for obtaining a Certification for master DFS devices operating under CFR Title 47 Subpart E UNII rules.
Devices can still obtain a certification during this period by following the same current DFS PAG policy in publication 388624 without the requirement to physically demonstrate compliance at the FCC's laboratory.
For the PAG period, it is based on the work of FCC, maybe one or two weeks.
