Residential routers/gateways need to get CLS LABEL and register IMDA wireless communication
In October, 2020, IMDA has announced Technical Specifications “IMDA TS RG-SEC” of Security Requirements for Residential Gateways (“RGs”, commonly known as home routers) sold in Singapore that should be registered for IMDA as well as getting Cybersecurity Label under CLS (Cybersecurity Labelling Scheme).
The effective schedule under IMDA TS RG-SEC:
2021-04-12: New RGs models shall be registered on IMDA and CLS. For existing models: can be continued to sell in the market or being registered on IMDA and CLS.
2021-10-12: All RGs sold for local use in Singapore are forced to IMDA and CLS. Dealers/Suppliers shall cease selling for local use all existing models that do not comply with this regulation.

Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has formally issued RSS-310, Issue 6, “Licence-Exempt Radio Apparatus: Category II Equipment,” replacing Issue 5, which has been in effect since 2020
