Various certification institutions in South Africa have announced their latest holiday schedules.

Various institutions in South Africa (Independent Communications Authority of South Africa - ICASA, South African Bureau of Standards - SABS, and National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications - NRCS) have announced their year-end holiday schedule for 2023.

The specific holiday dates are as follows:

《ICASA》

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) will close from 14 December 2023 until 2 January 2024 for holiday period.

《SABS》

The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) will close from 15 December 2023 until 15 January 2024 for holiday leaves.

《NRCS》

The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) will close from 22 December 2023 until 2 January 2024 for annual holidays.


In addition to this, the neighboring republic to the west of South Africa, Namibia, has also announced its year-end holiday schedule for 2023.

《CRAN》

The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia- CRAN will be operational during the festive season except on the following dates :

11th December

25th December

26th December

01st – 05th January 2024.

They will resume duties on the 8th of January 2024.
