In October 2024, the workshop proposed an ISED fee forecast, and the Canadian IC ID registration fee will increase again, which will take effect on April 1, 2025, and is expected to increase by 2.7%.
Wireless Radio products and telecom/Terminal products (products that need to test CS-03) sold in Canada must pass IC certification. Therefore, the increase in Canadian IC ID registration fees has an impact on such products.
ISED official fee increase history:
1. In September 2023: The fee has been adjusted from $50 per HVIN (model) to only one fee regardless of the number of models.
· New Registration Fee: $750.
· Modification Fee: $375. Modification of certified products:C1PC, C2PC, C3PC, C4PC, multiple listing.
2. In April 2024, fee had increased by 4.4%.
· New Registration Fee: increased from $750 to $783.
· Modification Fee: increased from $375 to $391.5.
3. In April 2025, fee is expected to increase by 2.7%.
· New Registration Fee: increased from $783 to $804.14.
· Modification Fee: increased from $391.5 to $402.07.

In addition, ISED equipment registration fees, if the applicant is a local company in Canada, will incur additional taxes. Different provinces/regions have different tax rates. The details are as follows: This tax rate policy has been implemented in 2023 and this part will remain unchanged.
