WERCSmart Registration New Rule-Battery to Upload UN38.3 Report
Many products entering offline channels in the north american market will apply for wercmart certification.
A few days ago, wercmart issued an important notice, which reads as follows:
1. From June 28, 2019, all newly registered lithium battery products or products containing lithium batteries will need to upload the battery UN38.3 test report!
2. From August 1, 2019, all registered lithium battery products or products containing lithium batteries will need to upload the battery UN38.3 test report! If the battery UN38.3 test report cannot be uploaded from the effective date, the registration ID will be suspended.
Note:
1) APLUS reminds customers and friends to recertify all products containing batteries to ensure that all products related to lithium batteries have been updated.
2) for battery products without UN38.3 report, customers and friends need to contact the battery manufacturer for recertification to obtain UN38.3 report. after uploading to Wercs website, they can resell battery products, add UPC or update by other means.
