BIS latest notification-Issue of letters with QR Codes

Subject: Issue of letters with QR Codes

 

1.  BIS authorities decided to stop issuing paper certificates and will issueA system generated letter with QR code. The QR code will be included in the BIS certificate.

 

2. After scan the QR code, the link will go to the corresponding page on the CRS website, where the content of the certificate can be verified.

 

3. The download address of the new certificate will remain same.

 

4. This notice will take effect on 8 January 2019.

 

5. As the certificate will be generated by the system, its content will be based on the information uploaded by the factory/applicant on the website.

 

Therefore, the factory/applicant should carefully check the information before submitting any application to the website to prevent any errors.
