Clarification regarding Bluetooth interface

A clarification letter was issued by TEC India on October 30, 2023, aim at clarifying description of Bluetooth. The letter mentioned that Bluetooth technology which is sometimes also referred to as Bluetooth Classic or Bluetooth Traditional. Since in the ERs and Annexure to ER uploaded on MTCTE portal, Bluetooth has not been mentioned in BLE interface. It is clarified as below table. Therefore, if the product uses Classic Bluetooth/Traditional Bluetooth and BLE, both need to be tested and comply with the requirements.

Bluetooth refers to Bluetooth Classic or Bluetooth  Traditional.

Therefore, if the product uses technology classic Bluetooth/Traditional Bluetooth and BLE, both need to be tested to comply with the requirements.
