[Update] GCF Certification Requirements Update - 2025Q4

In 2025Q4, the GCF (Global Certification Forum) released the new version v3.99.0 of GCF-CC.

GCF-CC v3.99.0 will take effect on October 22, 2025, and will be mandatory on February 3, 2026 (GCF-CC v3.98.1 will be valid until February 2, 2026). 

 

The key changes are as follows: 

1. The chapters in the GCF-CC Certification Criteria document have not undergone any critical content modifications;

2. Updates to Annex F documents:

  • F2 specifies CTIA's audio performance testing requirements, adding Note 39 that the results in the conformance test case list must be followed by' See PI Annex B.012 ', with Annex B.012's result documentation to be submitted to GCF.

  • F3.4 The USAT function confirmation list has updated the names of some USAT-defined Terminal Profiles.

  • F4.4 Removed some previously accepted restricted test cases;

  • F4.6 The information in "RSP Features" has been revised to align with the corresponding information in regulation SGP.23 v1.16.
